I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in the knee, hip, and shoulder. I am committed to providing my patients with comprehensive, progressive orthopedic care, including today’s most innovative and best practices to achieve optimal orthopedic function and performance. In addition to traditional orthopedic treatments and surgery, I also offer minimally invasive alternatives utilizing state of the art technology and integrative orthobiologic therapies and treatments. Currently, I have 4 IRB-approved research studies utilizing stem cells derived from bone marrow and adipose tissue in conjunction with platelet-rich plasma to treat pain and improve function in osteoarthritis, soft tissue injuries (rotator cuff and labral tears, meniscal tears, etc.), and avascular necrosis. I offer an integrative approach to healing musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing nutrition, specialty testing, DEXA/bone density scans, and a variety of treatment options to improve quality of life and prevent progression of musculoskeletal disease. I believe in the body’s natural ability to heal itself by incorporating a holistic approach using the latest advances in research related to orthopedics and sports medicine.
