We have extensive experience in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Over the years we have helped many women and men who have benefited from this modality. When applied judiciously and as a part of an overall "lifestyle based" health improvement plan, BHRT is a wonderful tool that can help people achieve goals which would be VERY HARD to reach without it.

Dr. Bazzan is originally from Verona and graduated from medical school in Padua, Italy. He is board certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and integrative and holistic medicine. He holds licenses from Pennsylvania, California, New Jersey, West Virginia, Switzerland, and Italy. He is the director of the Functional & Wellness Sciences Institute, PC, in Jeffersonville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bazzan is the recipient of the 2012 Top Doctor in the Area Award, the Patient’s Choice Award yearly 2008 through 2012, “Tree of Life Award” and a Congratulation Citation from the Pennsylvania Senate, given for outstanding service to the community. He is the coauthor of “The Great Life Makeover,” a popular press Harper Collins book written to ameliorate the health of the public at the time of middle age. Among other areas, his training includes cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, emergency medicine, and time spent doing basic vascular research with emphasis on blood lipids. His practice of meditation spurred an interest in Oriental medicine, which led him to an understanding of health and related issues broader than the conventional medical model. His training in integrative medicine includes areas such as functional medicine, mind-body medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, psychoneuroimmunology, meditation, clinical biochemistry and applied nutrition, detoxification, chelation and intravenous therapies, bioidentical hormone replacement, integrative cancer care, and genomic testing, which have become a part of his life and medical practice.
