You, a potential new patient requesting bioidentical hormone replacement (BHRT), are the focus of my gynecological practice. Our aim is to make you feel “special,” as if you were one of our long-established patients!

For more than 30 years, my GYN practice has concentrated on helping our perimenopausal and menopausal patients improve their quality of life with BHRT. We would strive to help you return to your youthful hormone levels by replacing your natural reproductive hormones, then monitoring your response until you feel good.

Much of our knowledge about replacing reproductive hormones in the latter years of life has been based on the treatment of infertile couples, helping them conceive through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Those patients have grown older and are now entering menopause, so we have used that knowledge to achieve optimal replacement hormone levels. We only prescribe plant-derived estradiol, testosterone, and progesterone that can be measured through simple blood tests. We avoid synthetic injections and recommend transdermal hormones (creams, patches) or sub-Q hormone pellets for women and, solely, testosterone pellets for men. We like to treat couples whenever possible, to help them get that “romantic spark” back into their lives.
