Hi, thanks for reading my profile. I want to give you a brief introduction to the way I practice medicine. There are many names used to describe the use of hormone replacement therapy. They include anti-aging medicine, alternative medicine, integrated medicine, complementary medicine, and natural medicine. Regardless of the term used, I have been treating men and women with hormone replacement therapy for more than 10 years.

The practice is very small. I see no more than 10 patients per day, and this gives me time to listen to your needs. During your visit, I will formulate a treatment plan based on your needs to include lab testing, prescribing hormones, nutritional advice that offers the best diet for your lifestyle, and exercise recommendations, as well as address other medical needs as they relate to your current and future concerns.

As an osteopathic physician, I take a holistic approach with everyone I see for evaluation. I view the body as an interrelated, whole being instead of a few isolated symptoms. This allows me to treat the “whole you.”

We offer a multitude of medical services as part of our preventive medical treatment focused on regaining and maintaining optimal health, vitality, and vigor. Dr. Bissoon is nationally renowned for introducing mesotherapy, a French medical procedure, to the USA in 1999. Dr. Bissoon is the author of "The Cellulite Cure," and has been featured in almost every major magazine and newspaper, and on many television shows.

Our goal is for you to be disease-resistant, mentally sharp, and physically fit. “Anti-aging medicine” may not be able to reverse aging or extend longevity; however, our hormone replacement treatments are able to address age-related physical, mental, and sexual problems, plus enhance your quality of life.

I received my doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa in 1989. Then I completed a rotating internship in medicine at Humana Hospital in Hallandale Beach, Florida. After completing my first internship, I did one year of training in general surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. Afterward, I joined the U.S. Air Force, where I trained in aerospace medicine and served as a flight surgeon. After being discharged from the USAF, in 1995, I was accepted to a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. My first practice was in physiatry with an emphasis on sports medicine. Then, I began to develop an interest in anti-aging medicine in the late 1990’s when I started to treat patients with HCG for weight loss and HGH replacement therapy. In 1999, I gave up the practice of sports medicine and shifted gears to my current focus in medicine, which is based on a comprehensive approach to aging.
