For decades, I struggled with undiagnosed Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and hypothyroidism. Over time, the fatigue and low-grade depression became my normal and I just got used to it. It took many frustrating trips to different doctors finally to get the true cause properly diagnosed and optimally treated. After initiating treatment, I began to see that it wasn’t as simple as “take this pill and you’ll be better,” which my first doctor told me. It wasn’t until I found the right doctor who would really listen and adjust my medication that I FINALLY began to feel better. It was a long and frustrating journey.

So you can bet I became passionate about helping others! I wanted to learn as much as I could from experienced hormone specialists to understand all aspects of hormonal imbalances that seemed to elude doctors and frustrate patients.

Drawing upon my personal experience as a patient and my medical training as a physician, I dedicated my practice to natural endocrinology and to hormone optimizing and balancing. I began to see that hormonal deficiencies and imbalances are often the root cause of weight issues, as well as the missing link to preventive medicine and overall health.

I became certified in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy through Worldlink Medical after going through a series of training courses taught by Neal Rouzier, MD, a renowned expert in hormone balancing. I also offer medically supervised weight loss programs to support sustained weight loss. I believe passionately that when we combine a healthy lifestyle (clean, balanced diet and exercise) with hormone optimizing, we utilize the absolute most powerful combination to keep us healthy, happy, and active into our golden years!
