Dr. Guram is well-trained and experienced in the management of digestive disorders, liver disorders, gastroenterology and hepatology, hormone therapy, and metabolic disorders. Special interests include the management of obesity and metabolic disorders, including weight loss services. He also provides intra-gastric balloon placements for weight loss.

Committed to scientific progress, he has performed collaborative research in the following areas: non-invasive tests of gastrointestinal function in men, tests of gastrointestinal motility assessment, and management of obesity.
